CFM started this pilot ‘After School’ program in the neighborhood of our head office in April 2015 for the economically less fortunate children who cannot cope with the regular school curriculum and need tutoring. We have provided space, a teacher and a forum for socially minded people to contribute their time and address the educational needs of the children. We have also tied up with an NGO which sponsors college students to spend their time and teach these children. The purpose of this pilot programme was to determine its effectiveness and then roll it out in rural India where our communities are based.
A second school was started in June 2016 near one of our main community, outside of Delhi. We are investing time in children of the communities we work with so that we can have better and properly educated citizens of the future with the right ethical values.
